MISSION

 The African in America, Inc. is dedicated to empowering and developing young people by creating inclusive opportunities where youth from diverse cultures, backgrounds, and languages can come together, build meaningful connections, and discover their potential.

Through sports, education, leadership development, mentoring, and life-skills programming, we equip young people with the confidence, knowledge, character, and skills they need to succeed in school, careers, and life. We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to be seen, heard, supported, and inspired to become a leader in their community.

Our mission is to use the power of connection, culture, education, and opportunity to help youth overcome barriers, embrace their identity, develop their strengths, and create a brighter future for themselves and the communities they serve

THE SOCCER CAMP DESCRIPTION

The Camp is place where a lot of talented youth come to together and express themselves. Many of the get the opportunity to get recruited by soccer clubs in the city, and high school coaches come to the camp look at middle schoolers who are potentially coming to their school for sports. My kids at the camp, participate in multiple sports and they are at camp to get fit and be prepared for it. the youth who in the summertime can’t afford other camps. The camp is free for all the youth. We are focused on the development of the youth ages 6-18 years old. We understand that there are many talented youths in our communities. The African in America goal is to recognize the talented youth and connect the with the right resources to help them grow.
